WILSON TROUVÉ / ARGENTIC LIGHTS

'Argentic Lights' aims to draw a line between neoclassical, drone and cinematic music using a collision of acoustic and electronic material.
The side project of visual artist & experimental composer Wilson Trouve aka Monochromie, who has worked in both music & art practice for the last 15 years. With “Bright Textures” Trouve wanted to explore new textures and feelings, new soundscapes and atmospheres which might change the way we think about film music.
“I have been trying to merge many instruments together, from acoustic/orchestral sounds to electronic textures and pads, keys & noise. As a visual artist and a composer, I always aim to mix visual and sound, to put visual ideas into music and musicality into the visual arts.”
“I want to express my own inner way to write music. I want my music to sound cinematic but also unusual, unexpected and genuine.”
